Series of 1934B one hundred dollar bills with a green seal are very common.  1934B $100 bills in circulated condition are only worth face value ($100).  Uncirculated 1934B $100 bills have a chance to command a premium.

***Please do not call about your 1934B $100 bill unless the serial number ends with a star symbol***

Remember that the series letter refers to the letter listed after or below 1934 as seen below.  It has nothing to do with the letter that begins or ends the serial number.

One Hundred dollar bills from 1934B with a star symbol at the end of the serial number have a chance to be worth $300 or more.  1934B $100 star notes were only printed for the Richmond, Atlanta, St. Louis, Minneapolis, and Dallas districts.

Series of 1934B green seal one hundred dollar bills were signed by W.A. Julian as the Treasurer of The United States and by Fred M Vinson as the Secretary of the Treasury.

Series of 1934B $100 bills have a picture of Benjamin Franklin on the front and Independence Hall on the back.  All series of 1934B one hundred dollar bills were printed in Washington DC.  However, they were issued for ten of the twelve Federal Reserve districts.  The issuing districts are Boston, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Richmond, Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City, and Dallas.  New York and San Francisco did not issue series of 1934B one hundred dollar bills.

Series of 1934B one hundred dollar bills with a green seal are called Federal Reserve Notes.  As such they have the following nomenclature on them:  “This Note Is Legal Tender For All Debts, Public And Private, And Is Redeemable In Lawful Money At The United States Treasury, Or At Any Federal Reserve Bank.” And “Federal Reserve Note The United States Of America Will Pay To The Bearer On Demand One Hundred Dollars” – “The United States of America One Hundred Dollars” And keep in mind that nothing from 1934 will ever say “In God We Trust”.
