Misprinted Bill with Another Bill Printed Offset

Misprint with Part of Another Bill Printed as an Offset

The technical name for this error is a partial offset. This misprint occurs when the wet ink from another note is offset and put onto another note touching it. These misprints are actually fairly common. Partial offsets in perfect condition sell for about $150. Circulated offsets are worth significantly less.

This misprint can have the front on the back, or the back on the front. It really doesn’t matter much.

Keep in mind that the pricing above is for modern Federal Reserve note misprints. The same misprint on something like a $2 bill or a silver certificate will be worth more money.

We purchase partial offset misprints. Send us a picture of your note. admin@oldcurrencyvalues.com
