Description:  Series of 1878 $10 bills are not something you see everyday.  They are much less common than something like a 1901 bison.  However, when it comes to values, rarity isn’t always the driving the factor.  The 1878 ten dollar bill is a case where lack of popularity really hurts the value.

Series of 1878 ten dollar bills look just like several other ten dollar bills that were printed from 1869 until the late 19th century.  These bills feature Daniel Webster and a vignette showing Pocahontas.  There are two red serial numbers and there are two red seals.

We are still aggressive buyers of 1878 $10 bills.  However, we can only offer what the market will allow.

Variations:  Unlike some other denominations from the series of 1878, there are no varieties for the 1878 ten dollar bill.  All notes were signed by Allison and Gilfillan.  Of course different notes will have different serial numbers and plate letters.  Conditions will vary between notes as well.
