Description:  Ten dollar legal tender notes from 1880 are typically called jackass notes by collectors.  If your turn the bill upside down then the eagle looks like a donkey.  Daniel Webster is shown on the left hand side of the bill and a vignette with Pocahontas is on the right side of the bill.

Some 1880 $10 bills were rare for many years.  However, in the early 2000s a hoard of hundred of these notes were discovered at a bank in Florida.  That discovery has significantly lowered the cost of most 1880 $10 bills.  These bills are regularly available in perfect condition for very reasonable prices.

Please send us scans or digital photos of your 1880 $10 bill and we an make our best offer.
