Description:  1882 $500 gold certificates have a portrait of Abraham Lincoln on the left hand side of the bill.  There are three different seal types.  Despite saying series of 1882, these were actually printed for decades.  So there is a big price gap between the ones printed in the early 1880s and the ones that were actually printed in the 20th century.  If you send us a picture of what you have then we would be happy to advise as to the value.

Variations:  There are seven signature combinations for the 1882 $500 gold certificate.  The signature combination is extremely important, it can make the difference between $5000 and hundreds of thousands of dollars.  No matter what you have, please send us a picture.
