The 1887 $10 bill was printed from 1882 to as late as 1909.  Even though every note says series of 1882, they were not necessarily printed that year.  1887 $10 bills also feature a standard theme with two scenes on each side of the note, with the bank’s name in the center.  1887 $10 bills will either have a brown or blue seal.  The blue seal 1887 ten dollar notes will be more common and worth less than the brown seal 1887 ten dollar bills, however there are many exceptions to that rule.   The value of a 1887 $10 bill is not set in stone, the value depends on which bank issued the notes.  See our contact information below to get a quick free appraisal on your 1887 $10 bill.
