Description:  1901 bisons are already very popular.  When you add a star to the front of the serial number, then they really become in demand.  There are more than 100 1901 $10 star notes known to exist, so they aren’t exactly rarities.  However, they are popular enough to still bring good money.

The star symbol is found at the beginning of the red serial number on series of 1901 ten dollar legal tenders.  The red star is hollow, symbolizing that is is a replacement star.

Variations:  There are six different signatures combinations possible for series of 1901 $10 bison star notes.  All six combinations do have star notes known to exist for them.  If you factor in mule and plate varieties then there are a total of nine different 1901 $10 star possibilities.
