Description:  1914 $5 star notes are common enough that they are actually collectible across all districts and most Friedberg numbers.  This means that otherwise obscure varieties actually command pretty decent money in this series because there are collectors chasing them.

All 1914 $5 star notes have a blue serial number that can start with the letter A-L.  All star notes of course end with a star symbol.  Besides the star, they look just like any other 1914 blue seal five dollar bill.

Variations:  There are dozens of different varieties of 1914 $5 star notes printed.  All the varieties are a direct result of the different Federal Reserve banks and all the different signers.  We would strongly encourage you to send us a picture of your 1914 $5 star note.  You could have one of the many rare varieties.
Other:  If your series of 1914 $5 bill has a serial number that ends with a letter, then you have a regular issue note.  You can learn more about standard serial number 1914 $5 bills here.
