Description:  1918 $1000 federal reserve notes present the only somewhat affordable chance for the average collector to obtain a a large size one thousand dollar note.  Examples are occasionally available in circulated condition for a little bit less than $10,000.  Notes in nicer condition will certainly be worth more than $10,000.

Alexander Hamilton is pictured on this note.  The serial number on these issues can start with any letter between A and L.  This letter does affect the value.  The date of 1913 is also written on each bill; however, collectors call these 1918 notes.  If you have one of these, please let us know about it.

Variations:  All twelve federal reserve banks issued 1918 $1000 notes.  Four of the districts issued two different varieties.  In total there are 16 different 1918 one thousand dollar bill types.  Some of these are extremely rare, and the rest are just rare.  Contact us for exact pricing.
