Description: There were only 40,000 series of 1922 $100 gold certificate star notes printed. Surprisingly, 30 have already been discovered by collectors. That is a great survival rare on such an odd issue. 1922 $100 gold star notes are available a few times a year. Their value is based on their exact serial number and condition.
Unlike most gold certificates, 1922 $100 bills have a serial number printed in blue ink. The hollow star symbol is found at the beginning of the serial number and the serial number always ends with the letter B. |
