1929 five dollar Federal Reserve Bank Notes are very common. However, the following five exceptions can make 1929 five dollar Federal Reserve Bank Notes more valuable (in no particular order):

-The five dollar bill is from The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco
-The five dollar bill is from The Federal Reserve Bank of Saint Louis
-The five dollar bill has a serial number that begins with six or seven zeros
-The five dollar bill is in absolutely perfect condition (no folds, bright white, brand new)
-The five dollar bill has a serial number that ends with a star symbol instead of the letter A

1929 five dollar Federal Reserve Bank Notes can be from every bank but Richmond. That means that Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Dallas, and San Francisco all issued 1929 five dollar brown seals.

All of these 1929 five dollar bills are signed by EE Jones as the Register of the Treasury and by WO Woods as the Treasurer of The United States. These notes are also signed by the governor and the Asst. Deputy Governor or cashier. There will be a black line that does or attempts to black out the word cashier and president.

All 1929 five dollar bills feature a portrait of Abraham Lincoln. Series of 1929 is printed twice on each bill, once to the left of Lincoln’s head and again by the bottom right side of his portrait. Depending on which bank issued the note, four black letters will appear on the bill signifying which Federal Reserve Bank printed the five dollar bill.
