Misprinted Bill Missing Black Seal and District Number

This misprint can only occur on older Federal Reserve notes. The bill below is missing its black seal and district numbers. Today all the seals, serial numbers, and district numbers/letters are printed at once. It is impossible for just one piece to be missing. However, years ago the black overprint and green overprint were applied separately.

Pricing varies on missing black overprints. These aren’t especially common, but they also aren’t especially popular.
