Series of 1934D $100 Bill Value

Series of 1934D One Hundred Dollar Federal Reserve Note Value

The series of 1934D is the only regular issue 1934 $100 bill that has a chance to be slightly rare. Most circulated 1934D $100 bills are still worth very close to face value. Uncirculated examples and star notes will command a premium.

1934D $100 star notes were issued for Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Chicago. Regular issue 1934D $100 bills were printed for those same districts, plus New York, St. Louis, and Dallas.

Remember that the series letter refers to the letter listed after or below 1934 as seen below. It has nothing to do with the letter that begins or ends the serial number.

Series of 1934D green seal one hundred dollar bills were signed by Georgia Neese Clark as the Treasurer of The United States and by John W. Snyder as the Secretary of the Treasury.

As with most one hundred dollar bills, the series of 1934D one hundred dollar bill has a picture of Benjamin Franklin on the front and Independence Hall on the back of it. All series of 1934D one hundred dollar bills were printed in Washington DC.

Series of 1934D $100 bills with a green seal are called Federal Reserve Notes. As such they have the following nomenclature on them: “This Note Is Legal Tender For All Debts, Public And Private, And Is Redeemable In Lawful Money At The United States Treasury, Or At Any Federal Reserve Bank.” And “Federal Reserve Note The United States Of America Will Pay To The Bearer On Demand One Hundred Dollars” – “The United States of America One Hundred Dollars” And keep in mind that nothing from 1934 will ever say “In God We Trust”.
