Description: Early fifty dollar notes issued by national banks are rare. There are only about 100 currently known to exist. These were printed between the years of 1863 and 1901. Despite that long range, these just haven’t survived. A lot of that is due to the fact that $50 was a lot of money for a very long time. If someone found an old fifty dollar bill, despite being interesting, it probably got spent, redeemed, and destroyed. Today first charter fifties are prized and coveted by the collectors lucky enough to own them.
The left side of each bill shows Washington Crossing the Delaware; the left side of the bill shows Washington at Prayer. The back has well used vignette known as the Embarkation of the Pilgrims. So not only are these rare and collectible, they also have a lot of amazing artwork. No matter the condition of your $50 bill, please send us a picture of it. We are aggressive buyers. |

Variations: Simply put, there are some variations to this issue, but these notes are rare enough that the variations don’t really affect the value. | ||
