| Description: This $5 confederate note has a very plain style which the banks at the time said was easily counterfeited. These particular notes have no illustration and are printed with black ink on blue tinted paper. The back of the note has “Confederate States of America” and the note’s value printed on it in blue.
If the serial number of your note is 1953, 2070, 4763, 11225, 16767, 24497, or 138590 then what you have is a reproduction with no collector value. Please do not contact us if you have a reproduction.
