Description:  One hundred dollar first charter national bank notes are very imposing.  You just don’t see them very often, and when you do it is obvious even to the novice collector that what you are looking at is important.  A lot of different national bank notes printed early $100 bills as seen below.  However, the survival rate is very poor.  These are usually found on big city banks like New York, Boston, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Philadelphia as seen below.

Condition and bank of issue are very important.  No matter what you have, send us a picture of it and give us a chance to make an offer.  You will likely be pleased with the number.

Variations:  One great thing about $100 nationals, is that even if your note is from a common bank, you could still have some extra value based on the serial number.  Send us a picture of what you have and we can tell you if it is rare or very rare.
