Green Seal One Hundred Dollar Bills – Values and Pricing

Green Seal One Hundred Dollar Bills (1928 – present) – Values and Pricing

Any $100 bill that has a green seal is known as a Federal Reserve note. We value them in eight categories:

19281928A19341934A1934B1934C1934D1950 and Newer

The truth of the matter is that green seal $100 federal reserve notes are not going to be worth much over $100 in many cases. This is simply due to the fact that they aren’t rare and they are expensive to collect. You can’t just assume that because a $1 bill from 1963 is worth $3, that a $100 from 1963 should be worth $300. It just doesn’t worth like that.

When looking at old green seal one hundred dollar bills, you need to find notes that are in perfect condition, or have a serial number that ends with a star symbol. Star notes from 1928 are usually rare and collectible. $100 star notes from 1934 certainly have the chance to be valuable. Star notes from 1950 and newer generally don’t carry much of a premium.
