Description: Legal tender twenty dollar notes as shown below are rare in high grades, but quite available and relatively affordable in lower grades. A lot of these notes were printed and many are still around. All notes were signed by Chittenden and Spinner.
Be careful, because unlike most U.S. currency, there are a lot of fake early legal tenders floating around today. Some are quite deceptive. |
