Series of 1928C two dollar star notes are fairly common in circulated grades.  A heavily circulated or damaged note shouldn’t cost more than $50.  A nice looking 1928C $2 star note is going to be worth closer to $200.  As usual, all two dollar star notes that are choice uncirculated or better are going to carry significant premiums, the same applies to 1928C two dollar star notes.

We don’t know exactly how many 1928C $2 red seal star notes were printed, but it was likely somewhere between 750,000 and 1,000,000.

Like all red seal two dollar legal tender notes, the series of 1928C $2 star notes features Thomas Jefferson on the front and Monticello on the back.

Series of 1928C $2 bills were printed in the early part of the years between January 1934 and July 1944.  These dates coincide with when Henry Morgenthau Jr. and WA Julian were in office together.
