What Is A Mule Note?
A mule note is a piece of currency that has a back plate number that is a different size from the front plate number. Mules can be boring and unimportant 99% of the time. However, 1% of the time a note being a mule can make a thousand dollar different. Mule notes have the chance to be most valuable in 1928 and 1934 star notes.
The terms macro and micro are used to describe the plate number sizes.
