Description:  Series of 1880 twenty dollar bills are some of the most prolifically issued bills for the entire large size series.  These were first printed in 1880.  However, based on known signature combinations, 1880 $20 bills were still being printed in the early 1920s!

Each 1880 $20 bill has a similar design but the seal and serial numbers can be different colors.  Alexander Hamilton is featured on the left hand side of the bill.  A female figure holding a shield is pictured on the right hand side of the bill.  The back of 1880 $20 bills is fairly plain with some green overprints.
